A quick glance at our benefit package will reveal: company-paid term life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, dependent life insurance, travel insurance and long-term disability coverage. (Supplemental plans for each of the above mentioned insurance coverages are also available for purchase). Our medical insurance coverage offers a choice of three different plan structures including a HMO, POS and PPO option. Currently, the company pays up to 65% of the overall medical premium cost (depending on the medical plan selected).
Southern A&E is also concerned about the retirement options for our employees. We offer employees access to our 401(k) plan which, at present, offers investment choices in (15) different mutual funds. In addition, our plan offers eligibility to join after only six months of employment and a current contribution match of dollar-for-dollar up to the first 5% you contribute to the plan. We enjoy strong participation in our 401(k) plan with over 90% of our employees contributing. We encourage each of our employees to take ownership of their retirement and make use of the many education opportunities available through our 401(k) provider.
