Factory Shoals Middle SchoolFactory Shoals Middle School was designed for Douglas County Schools and completed in the summer of 2007 with a total maximum enrollment of 1,300. The middle school has a total square footage of 211,000 and 80 instructional units. The school includes: multiple classrooms, technology labs, art and music, media center with production rooms and conference rooms, administrative areas, teacher workrooms, utility rooms, large gymnasium and multiple athletic fields.
