Joshua Mabry Performing Arts Center is a new 955 seat fine arts building designed with the students & community in mind.  The theater provides the user with an Orchestra Pit and a large 3,000 sq. ft. stage with automated rigging lines to control stage lighting, scene drops & curtains.  Service for the stage includes large backstage areas, boys & girls dressing rooms, storage areas & the school’s drama classroom.  The stage is also controlled by sound & light booths set in rear of house.  The Theater experience brings you through an large lobby with large windows that bring in ample natural light for those breaking during an performance intermission.  The lobby is host to the theater manager suites, men & women restrooms and a inviting student gallery.  The house is designed with sight, sound & comfort in mind.  Providing large aisles width with sections of sloped seating in front & stepped seating section on back, walls are set at different angles and ceiling is suspended gyp. board floating clouds which controls the acoustics. The building is set adjacent to the new football stadium where we provided as part of the design of this auditorium a large stadium men & women battery toilets with outside access usage for the home side fans.
