Oglethorpe Middle SchoolSouthern A & E had the privilege of replacing the original Oglethorpe Middle with a brand new school in the fall of 2010. The new school was designed to accommodate 850 students with a total square footage of 126,500. A tower entrance greets students as they enter the front of the school. Ample natural lighting and extensive use of school color where just two of the design features Southern A & E incorporated into the school. A spoke and wheel design with a common atrium was used so administrative staff could monitor each wing of the middle school from a central location.
